You have the potential to claim $40,000 from a $115,000 job. But that's a job that you'd have to call in the builders for. Your house is intact but the damage has taken out the walls and everything in the house up to waist height. Of course by the time you get back in, the slime has crawled all over the place. F... |

What does a primer do that an extra layer of > paint won't do? Primer is made for just that. It produces a better bond/coverage with the drywall 'paper' IMO than plain paint and gives the paint a good base to bond to. We used Behr PVA primer in our last house and Glidden latex primer i... |

Most brite nails (no metallic coating) are dipped in an adhesive that improves holding power. Is the entire nail bare metal or just the upper half above the adhesive. The fact that there are only 2500 in the box suggests that what's supposed to be in there is HDG since more plain "brite" ... |

What I learned was to buy more materials from a different building supplier. The windows were ordered well in advance, before the footings were dug if I remember right. I have been in contact with an official from the city. He saw the situation and says they (the builder) needs to address it. It's just I don't know what to tell him to do.
