Oh there is definitely a learning curve. What I learned was to buy more materials from a different building supplier. The windows were ordered well in advance, before the footings were dug if I remember right. But thats a whole other story :) My biggest problem was that my framer couldn't give me an honest answer of when he would come out and finish. If he told me it would be a week and a half (as it was) instead of always the next day like he said, I can plan for that. Instead I'm on the phone with my other subs and the inspections office everyday to reschedule. All chalked up to experience I suppose. Joel . |
