I was not thrilled with her idea as these suckers cost $51 per. I'm wondering if this is feasible: auger a hole and pour a concrete column resulting in a 2-4 inch portion above ground to mount the cedar timber... |

Perhaps not about the vibration per se but an overload downsteam can cause a marginal connection in the circuit to fail. Either by mechanical or electrial means; seen this many times. The conversion is 7.47 times cubic feet. So it was easiest to convert inches to feet before finding volume - area of the base times height. Especially if the siding edges break on the same stud that the foam insulation does. The foam insulation will work with James Hardie horizontal siding under certain conditions, but not the type siding you're using. This type of siding is much more labor intensive. R14.4 total Osb 3/8" ? and then Cedar shingles. Alot of work and long screws but it does the job well in lowering utilities. Just nailing through foam board it will be uneven where ever you hit the nail in deeper, you will notice it. . ... |
