The conversion is 7.47 times cubic feet. So it was easiest to convert inches to feet before finding volume - area of the base times height. Especially if the siding edges break on the same stud that the foam insulation does. The foam insulation will work with James Hardie horizontal siding under certain conditions, but not the type siding you're using. This type of siding is much more labor intensive. R14.4 total Osb 3/8" ? and then Cedar shingles. Alot of work and long screws but it does the job well in lowering utilities. Just nailing through foam board it will be uneven where ever you hit the nail in deeper, you will notice it. . ... |
