I informed my general contractor about it last year and they pumped more of the basement sealant by the cracks. The cracks have started leaking again. Does anyone here have any knowledge of how long the GC has responsibility for this? Any ideas of how to do a proper repair? ... |

To dig yours out you have a footing issue and support wall problem. The easiest would be jack the house and lower it back on the built up wall. Digging you first need to be sure of the water table and subsoil. You cant build the existing foundation wall down with a footing you would need a separate wall and footer, But how will you get the... |
