Dave - Vertical crack - subsidence or not? - Our property has had subsidence, which, according to the insurance company was due to a tree too close to the house. The work is covered by insurance. They accept the tree caused subsidence. However, there is one fine vertical crack that goes from the top of the house to the bottom of the house, on the opposite side to the tree, which is visible on both the inside and the outside....

A penetrating epoxy would be a good choice. Smith & Co.
