The work is covered by insurance. They accept the tree caused subsidence. However, there is one fine vertical crack that goes from the top of the house to the bottom of the house, on the opposite side to the tree, which is visible on both the inside and the outside.... |

How much of the beam is rotted? in addition you have to arrest & prevent further dry rot. A penetrating epoxy would be a good choice. Smith & Co.
