"NuckinFutz" - Re: Designing an insulated shed - Harry You dont need an attic. In fact I would take the space under the roof and use it for storage. I would just insulate betwen the joists with either sprayed foam or batts. The real issue will be condensation removal which can be handled a number of diffrent ways. If you use batts then a traditional soffit will work fine. Beleive it or not the majority of water vapor on t...

Jeff, Just saving a couple of pennies is all. 2 30amp legs is more than I'll need in the shed. I have one 220v 15 amp table saw, a 20amp air compressor, a 110v lathe that draws less than 15 amps, a bench top drill press, a miter saw t...

"Gymfolks" - Sewer Tie-In Question - I have a 16" sanitary sewer line (and easement) running beneath the dry creek bed on my property. My new house will be on the ridgeline (up some 40 feet up) overlooking the dry creek bed. The ridgline is quite steep, but the soil would be trenchable (nice black dirt) if the trencher could be lowered down via a chain/cable from a dozer. Has anybody ever dealt with this sort of proble...
