Every twenty years or so El Nino rains enough all week non-stop rain to raise the water table enough to get a couple of inches of ground water in the basement. It happens so infreque... |

I'd hire 2 finishers and a laborer, dump a 5 inch slump, keep the finishers half a day and have the nicest looking slab in town and no regrets. "Joe" |

I have finished a lot of concrete and wouldn't even think of trying this by myself. Just the driveway will need 44,000 pounds of concrete in it. Have you ever tried to move 44,000 pounds in a short time ? You will need to screed the concrete as you place it. There is no way you can pull... |

The new plumbing code stipulates installation of a tempering valve to guard against scalding & the remote chance of water tank if set to 120-130 F harbouring Legionella. Then when you broom it you will not have any ridges or trowel marks. As for when to start troweling, there are many factors to consider. When your finger only penetrates about a half inch or so it may be time but concrete does not always dry evenly. Remember if you have a low spot and you broom over it you will still... |

It will then make elevations and sections out of what you have done with the floor plan. Alth... |
