wipeout64@hotmail.com - Alvis Spray on Siding - I see some old posts on this product dating back to 2003 so they managed to stay in business with the same name up until 2005. Can anyone add to the 2003 posts? Back then nobody had any first hand experience with the product. thanks for your input . ...

"ANDY WIERSMA" - Re: construction site security - Hey!!! I work on large scale sites and the best thing is Sattelite Security. It is cheap and you don't have useless equipment when the project ends or to break. I am talking about job sites 6mi by 6mi. The sattelite is monitered live and recorded. So even if the the person monitering misses something they can rewind and zoom in to the face or plates. They also have other special imaging ...

"ANDY WIERSMA" - Re: How do you know if your contractor is doing a good job? - CHeck your local building department, chamber of commerce and ask for the contractor's license and bonding info, and most importantly varifiable REFERENCES. I am a superintendent for a large Public Works Contractor you can't judge skill and qualifications by looks or their truck. "ANDY WIERSMA" - Re: Shed Roof - Yes that would work, but I would recomend just using rolled roofing from lowes or homedepot. It is cheaper and much less time consuming. I wouldn't even worry about more plywood. You can lay over the existing shingles. Just besure to use tar to treat any bad areas befor hand. Been There2 Andy W. "Lil' Dave" - Re: Garage height...8 feet or 10 feet? - Considering my needs for a small workshop, and intermittent SMALL car maintenance usage, 8' high walls were fine. Dealt with the overhead ceiling height requirements for the garage door hardware, trolley, rails, stops, by framing a ceiling area for just that. The rest of the ceiling is 8'. wrote in message news:1121256710.216665.103440@g47g2000cwa.googlegroups...
