You can use a cold chisel and mallet to scribe a line and break along that line for starters. Counters (bathroom vanity, bistro table) with chiseled or flamed edge might be acceptable. The Tilt-Turn is a high quality window and door system from Europe (Germany to be specific) and was brought into the US by William Roddis in the 1980s . The roof is a lean to type with apex on a brick wall. He says notch it in with a birds mouth similar to one on lower wallplate. My question is how deep should the birdsmouth plumb cut be? ... |
