Boat_dreams - Re: Field type fencing - The specialized wire stretchers are great for stringing straight wire and small cable, but for general wire fence work and field fencing in particular you can't beat a lightweight cable come-along. For field fencing you also need a bridle to pull evenly top and bottom. If you're rich, get one of the bars with sliding hooks made for fence stretching. I prefer to use a chain bridl...

Boat_dreams - Re: Max Slope for 3" or 4" Sewer line to Septic? - In our county 3" ABS has 1/4" per ft. min slope and 4" ABS has 1/8" per ft. min slope. There is no maximum. In practice the min slope is held to the easement line or close to the septic system, then dives to the hook-up. My foothill area has distribution lines running at slopes from 1/4" to 6" per ft. and I've never heard of any problems due to higher slopes. Good luck, Boat_dr...

"ANDY WIERSMA" - Re: Max Slope for 3" or 4" Sewer line to Septic? - You will want as much slope as possible with the 80' dist.. I would also recomend installing a clean out tee somewhere near the house on the exterior where you can reach it with a hose or a plumber can get in with equipment in case of a clog without bringing messy equipment in your house.
