Ask the dealer if he will cover the cost of fire damage if after he installs the chimney you have a fire. I have heard of a cast iron insert torching an existing chimney. Proper ground I believe is a fat copper wire going from the panel to the copper water pipe feeding your house going into the earth - or similar arngm't. A nice fat copper wire is a better conductor than you are. But if the wire is not there then you would make a better ground. "Charles M" |

And I would not invest in a steam cleaner. I would hire a profesional caprpet cleaner instead. Also, your idea about shop vacing the attic is a good one. But sometimes disturbing nasty stuff like that is opening a can of worms. If there are droppings in the walls I wouldn't sweat it. They pretty much turn ... |
