The main beam (girder) is not as likely to crack and give problems as the other areas mentioned, though you have never indicated how much deflection ... |

I think I will go with a porta Bandsaw for the 4X8's and the Bosch Jigsaw for the 2X's. Rico hit it on the head, the 4X8's are 9 ft off the ground and nearly 3 ft apart.....they dont need to be identical, just pretty close.
