Yes, this involves the use of a 30 inch culvert seated on a concrete bottom, used for a water reservoir at a spring. I had tried the calculation and came up with just over 150 gallons, but someone had told me it was around 100 gallons, and I wondered if I had done it wrong. Thanks again guys and gals !!!! ...

I would not cover the vent but at this point see the condition inside the attic to be sure you have enough venting, you need more if mold is present without leaks. You can use different types but you need the same airflow if you replace the turbine with a cap vent. Underventing is bad, you cant overvent. ....
