I'm glad you think I'm covered as far as R-value is concerned. I would consider going without the insulation altogether but we've already graded for 5" - 4" slab + 1" insulation. Plus the insulation wasn't all that expensive - a little over $200 for the entire floor, so I think it's worth it. Thanks ag...
