Can someone tell me the difference between a salesperson and a broker in terms of income potential and responsibilities? I know a salesperson needs to hang his license with a broker, what about a broker who works for another broker (say, Century 21)? Does he hang his brokers license with them too? Thanks. In addition a buyer can hire am appraiser and get an appraisal on his own. The challenge we face is that in a rapidly rising market the properties for sale are all being offered for more than the highest previously sold property. I thought normally people do not have an appraisial clause, what they have typically is a mortgage contingency ... |

It generally indicates some other legal action against the owner of the property that may result in a lien. It indicates some sort of legal attack...but does not indicate a financial problem per se. I mean it will be moot, if all it takes is a seller and a buyer come to term on dollar value (for whatever reason), then the whole process of appraisal is totally redundant. Who cares who the house sold next door in similar condition sold for last week, what matters ... |
