I was thinking about 24" to secure bottom stringer to and for bottom step. This will end up being a 2'x10' concrete pad. 10' seems kind of long without concrete cracking. Does rebar prevent cracking? Also is it a big deal if I use clear stone underneath (since I already have a pile) instead of crushed? Any advice or alternate method suggestions much appreciated. ... |
