It does little good to secure the beam at or near the fulcrum. You need to secure the beam at the base, as far from the fulcrum as possible. There are a few methods of doing this but which one to use is site specific. If you can open the ceiling below to get at the bases that would be the best met... |

I know I did a bad job of describing what we are doing. The windows are being purchased from a legitimate high end window manufacturing company. We are giving them the framed opening dimensions and they are specially cutting the panes to the size and putting together two panes in the same way they would prepare a window for one of their regular manufctured w... |

The mini-donkies finally ripped it off the hinges and it was wearing really bad at the bottom where it was rubbing the base board. Oh well, I'll fix it right next time. . ... |

We have reddish stains in the toilet bowls in our new construction house. I'm not sure if it's iron. Water dept. says iron should not be an issue and also it's more red then brown. Don't know if it's some kind of bacteria. We flushed the main line from the road to the house (750') with clorox. Did not use any clorox in the house plumbing though. O... |

The Skill 77 , IIRC, is the standard here. Bosch has a good worm drive with a top mount handle. I own it and like it fine. I also own a Porter cable sidewinder which is also great. The PC saw took a 1 1/2 story fall off a roof a couple of weeks ago and is still going strong! The Worm drives the blade is installed backwards and... |
