Unfortunately, the mildew and mold from the the water in them creates an odor and creates an allergic reaction in me. Is there any way to treat these French drains to stop the odor? The shut off is just down stream of the check valve and recently failed shut. I gather it must be spring loaded. The connection between the check and the shut-off is a 90 degree bend -- it's all brass except the stack which is ABS. My question is how does one go about desoldering a three inch pip... |
