A dwelling unit, and a very large garage. These occupancies are separated by a fire wall as required by the local code. It seems to me, that I need a fire dampers on the supply and return ducts as they are passing through the firewall, but do I need fire smoke combination dampers? Of course they are much mor... |

My question is that when I put a sheet of 4"x 8"x 1/4" up on the ceiling, do all outside edges need to be screwed to a beam? Do I need to glue and screw the new drywall to the old drywall? Thanks! . ... |

Many years ago, when I was doing HVAC installs, we had the 'opportunity' to work with a certain framing crew. All of our installers were warned not to let them borrow anyone's circular saw. This framing crew would go to a tool outlet and purchase a reconditioned saw. This recon saw might last through half the framing job on a 1500 ... |
