"Derek F" - Re: Tobago and Grenada advice - I have not found any special deals on accommodation yet although many prices are normally quite reasonable. Juliana L Holm - Re: CHARLOTTE AMALIE, U.S. Virgin Islands - Great ideas from Guy. St. Croix will be a bit difficult to do within the limitations of a cruise ship stop. Tortola is iffy, too, because there are only a few ferries; if you miss it , you've missed the ship. Otherwise he sounds like THE expert, and I'm saving this memo since I plan to do a visit to the USVI on a land vacation in the next couple years. Julie GuyUSVI

Tom Withycombe - Re: Tobago and Grenada advice - There's almost always deals around either on the air portion or at resorts. Who would have thought that places like Peter Island in the BVI would be running special offers for May - usually a busy month. The world is behaving very differently - and it's- not just the weather. ...

Brian K - Re: Hey TA's - Can YOU help me? - Steve, Have you tried doing a search using "John Setzo Travel" on Google or one of the many telephone directories? Also, there's http://www.astanet.com/ one of the professional organizations for travel agents. They have a "find a travel agent" link which is very good. Do you have any paperwork from previous cruises? Perhaps it will have your agent's phone number or e-mail ...

"Derek F" - Re: Tobago and Grenada advice - Strange after searching for weeks and about to use Golden Carribean I checked Virgin Atlantic again to find that they have a sale on. The price was about the same as Golden Caribbeans Sunday prices and allowed me to book to Grenada and return from Tobago. Evidently people are now scared of hurricanes at the wrong time of year.
