There is a walk way between the houses, but nothing else on one side (ie the walk butts up against our house) and only about 5" of dirt on the other side of the walkway. My question is, how to we install posts if there's no room for them? Can we attach it directly to our house on one side ... |

The building inspector saw it, fined him and made him tear it out. He wasn't renting the deck out. Just because some people get away with it doesn't me this guy should get involved and buy what appears... |

For some reason I was thinking it wouldn't close at all. There is a special oil made for garage doors, but it really only needs to be put on the hinges & the rollers (if the rollers have ball bearings) but light weight motor oil or 3-in-1 oil also works. WD-40 is silicone based which gets sticky & the oil part evaporates very quickly so it's not the best... |
