Running without an air cleaner helps a tiny bit, but the rpm is still "hunting", the spark plug is sooty black, it uses a tankful of gas for a medium sized front lawn, and pulling off the carb & sparaying it with cleaner hasn't helped a bit. There seems to be some sort of "wiggle" factor involved, and maybe you have to wiggle them back in one way and not another. It's over my head. I'm not a rocket scientist.
