Is your pool really concrete or is it gunite with marsite or a crushed stone finish? If it is really finished concrete I think any pool sweep would still work fine, you'd just have to replace the tires and tail scrubbers a bit more frequently due to faster wear. (Isn't...

roger61611@yahoo.com - Re: Home Inspection Reveals Termites....Should I buy? - I would get a further inspection done and if a) The seller will pay to bring the termite treatment up to date - which they haven't kept up with or else there wouldn't be any tubes, and b) No significant damage is found upon a more rigorous inspection then I would buy it. One tube plus no real damage is not a major deal. The key is getting a real hardnose inspector who knows ...

steve - Re: Where to Mount Antenna Amp ? - For best results place it as close to the antenna end of the coax as possible. The less coax loass between the antenna output and the amp input the better. Otherwise the coaxial loss between your amp and the antenna adds to the amps noise figure and reduces the Signal to Noise ratio your receiver gets. An amp placed as described above on my attic antenna made all the difference...

"John Smith" - Re: Home Inspection Reveals Termites....Should I buy? - I've also heard it referred to as a mud tube. It's a thin line of dirt about 2 feet long that was along the foundation wall. The termites create it and travel through it. If you see one, I guess it's a pretty sure sign you have termites. What I'm nervous about though is, even if the pest inspector comes back and says there's no signs of active termites, how do I know that extensive...

"kevin" - Pressure Treated V. Aluminum - Hi All, I will soon be putting up a (very) small freestanding greenhouse we inherited. It is framed mostly with aluminum, plus a little bit of galvanized steel around a door. After some thinking, I have decided to put it on a simple base of pressure treated 4x4 or 4x6 lumber. This, of course, will eat the aluminum real quick, and probably do a job on the steel too eventually. ...
