"nomad" - Why would well pump cycle on and off every second? - I have a 40-60psi shallow well pump with an air bladder water tank. The pump is in the well house and the tank is in the home 75 feet away. This is a new well. My problem is that the pressure switch trips or cycles on off on off on off every second when the pressure reaches 40psi. I noticed when the pump is kicking on and off every second, the pressure gauge is jumping from 40 to 50 to 4...

"Joseph O'Brien" - Re: doors in 100+ year old house don't shut - Harry, Thanks for your advice. Forgive my ignorance, but is the stop part of the frame just behind the strike plate? I would assume so, since it's what "stops" the door from swinging through the frame to the other side. You're right about the hinge pins... some of them are too big, so they don't go all the way through. Others are too narrow. What a mess. Thanks, Joseph...

"Brad" - Rustoleum Epoxy For Garage Floor: Question... - I applied the Rustoleum Epoxy Shield to my garage floor as a weekend project. Followed all cleaning and temperature instructions to the letter. The floor has been curing for over 24 hours now, so I decided to walk on it and bring some items back in. I used the colored flakes when painting but sadly it seems like a ton of them didn't stick -- Is that something that I did wrong? I ...
