"*HMFIC@1369*" - Re: Home Depot Flooring - Gee I have had 4 dogs over the years and funny none ever pissed in the house with the exception of a white german shepard when she passed away from old age, her bladder let loose. I think your rug speaks for itself and gives the correct picture of the situation. Just wouldn't blame Home Depot either. "Geoff" wrote in message news:Pfbpe.499$jX6.104@newsread2.ne...

"Dom" - Re: Home Depot Flooring - I had my two bathroom floors done by Lowes (sheet linoleum). They had a guy come out to measure and look at the existing floors. Ok...no problem raised. The following week the guys come out to install the new linoleum and they told me they can't do it because both bathrooms need a new subfloor and they didn't have the hardware to do the job. Lowes made good on it with little hassle...

kzinNOSPAM99@yahoo.com - Re: Home Depot Flooring - Edwin has it dead on. I recently bought (thank god not had installed) kitchen cabinets and some flooring tile from them. 1 cabinet was back ordered for over 2 months and worse they kept saying they would get it to me. This caused me to schedule the counter people then reschedule them when the cabinet didn't show. Had to go through that 3 times. I bought some off the shelf ...

"No" - Re: screening material questions - I have never had issues with no-se-ums and normal screening. But I suppose that in some areas the particular buggies could be smaller. I have seen recently a new screening with a much finer mesh to avoid the issues with no-see-ums. Where I see the biggest problem is where the screens do not properly fit the openings, there could be small spaces around the frame letting in the bugs. ...

"No" - Re: Plumbing in new house looks strange..pics... - I would say this is how they intend to leave it. Its not temporary. Looking at your picture, the waste drains from right to left. You waste exits below the slab or right at the base of the wall, bottom left of picture. I think I would prefer to have it run down the right side wall, to a level that would allow clearance below your main electric panel, follow the right wall then t...

Couple of questions I have. How much more expensive is it >to run vs a window unit? A single central air unit is more expensive to run than a single window unit. However, that's not really meaningful considering that the window unit cools one room and the cent...

"Geoff" - Home Depot Flooring - I decided to replace my carpet with hardwood flooring. Went down to Home Deport, selected the floor, they special ordered and delivered it. So far, so good, the day of the installation comes and the flooring company starts pulling up the carpet. utseay@aol.com - Re: Plumbing in new house looks strange..pics... - Ha, my girlfriend really doesn't care, but I can see the hassle it's going to bring when I begin to finish the basement. I just got word back from the builder today, they are going to leave it like that. His response was "I'm not sure why they did it like that, but I'm sure it has something to do with the connection to the sewer line, or the way the rooms are laid out". That's BS - t...
