Richard - Neighbor problem - dog mess - My neighbor is letting his dog use my front yard as his personal toilet. He leaves his bombs there all the time. Even IF he picked them up afterwards, I don't think I like the idea of him walking his dog across my front yard. What's wrong with his yard? Any tactful ways of dealing with this, obviously, rude person? I'm thinking of collecting a week's worth of bombs and then knockin...

"cowboy" - Re: GFCI - I agree they don't "just do that" unless the GFIC itself was defective. it was a BS answer in any case, from someone who sounds like they are underqualified/ignorant or just lazy. doesn't surprise me, as often times contractors/tradesmen are terribly underqualified, like HVAC men, for example, an awful bunch of incompetent rednecks, for the most part. can't tell you...

KevinGravelle@gmail.com - Replace Maytag Refrigerator Wide-by-Side (Model #MZD2766GEW) Water Inlet Valve - Hello, Has anyone ever replaced a Maytag refrigerator wide-by-side (Model #MZD2766GEW) water inlet valve? If so, is it easy to replace or is it something that you would recommend be replaced by a qualified service person? If it is easy to replace, would you be able to provide me with steps on how to do it? My refrigerator's water inlet valve apparently busted during a recent ...

Spr0ket - Bought a house w/ a hot tub, have some maintenance questions - OK, I just bought a house that has a hot tub. I've never owned a hot tub before so I really have no idea how to take care of it. Of course I plan on going to a local pool and spa outfit to get some advice from them, but what concerns me is that I won't know if they're giving me the straight scoop on how to take care of it, or if they're just trying to sell me a bunch of stuff that I don'...

roger61611@yahoo.com - Re: GFCI - Sorry, I had three thoughts in my head when I posted - I meant to somehow convey the idea that if the GFCI was tripping like once in a blue moon (once a year, technically), and the electrical work was done by a licensed electrician, then personally I would not worry about it. Problem is the OP would not know the answer so the whole line of reasoning is basically unhelpful. If the su...

igarber@optonline.net - Re: refrigerator question - They are hard to keep clean. It requires a special solution to be cleaned well. In some appliance stores I have seen imitation "stainless steel" refrigirators. They look exactly like the real thing, but I couldn't leave a fingerprint on one no matter how har I tried. You should look into those. . ...
