"John" - Porch Building, question on Post Placement - Hi everyone, I'm about to build a 8x12 porch onto my house. Simply a deck very close to ground with a roof over it. The deck frame will sit very close to the ground, 12 to 20 inches, and be supported by 3 cement footers (sonotubes) and a ledger-board. ...

Katrina shows areas still under flood waters, well after a week. The object is NOT rescue! I maintain 6 months food and water in my food cellar. This will allow me to ride out the worst and be able to relocate to safer area if need be and still maintain a solid homefront! "Goedjn" wrote in message news:t649i1hjolflo088q05426ikkbl6r52pdr@...
