One thing that has not received frenzied US news coverage: Where were the chaperones? If they had been doing their job, this might not have happened. I lived there for 2 years in the 60s.....a Lt at the USAF base (since changed to Navy I believe) where you will land if you fly there...... been back many times since i left...... \one of the nicest islands anywhere..... beautiful beaches, good restaurants etc etc.... Our favorite: Elbow Beach but there are others..... DRAWBACKS: cannot rent car and it's a bit e... |
