BERMUDA is SUPER.... I lived there for 2 years in the 60s.....a Lt at the USAF base (since changed to Navy I believe) where you will land if you fly there...... been back many times since i left...... \one of the nicest islands anywhere..... beautiful beaches, good restaurants etc etc.... Our favorite: Elbow Beach but there are others..... DRAWBACKS: cannot rent car and it's a bit expensive.....MOTOR BIKES can be very dangerous...... very few crime problems but must be careful as anywhere....one recent crime a few years ago somewhat similar to the current Aruba problem involved a transplant from JAMAICA...... just couldnt believe this Jamaican was being protected by the islanders but that's how it goes..... . |
