The Reids - TR Northern Spain - Cambados Alberino, Aquadente and seafood. On the Rias for the seafood and a palace bodega in the square for tastings. Dancing in the street, "real" dancing that is, tango and stuff, how do people find time to learn all that? Aquardente is best heavily flavoured IMHO, coffee flavoured was nice. Good market too, we bought some Palo Santo and Tetilla cheeses to eat for lunches on the r...

A cheap CD/mp3 player and a sheaf of CDR's have gone with me on both trips. "Larry in Berkeley" - Re: Budget accommodation in Rome, Milan and Venice - In Venice, I like little Locanda Casa Petrarca, near San Marco. Among others, they have two rooms with shower sleeping two each that are adjacent with only a small single room in that part of the hotel, so it is very private. I do not have their web site URL at hand, but a search for Casa Petrarca Venice pulls up several agencies that offer rooms there. Larry in Berkeley, Califo...
