"howard" - New tax on *all* foreign currency in Cuba - As of last Saturday all foreign currency in cuba will be charged 8%. (UKP will be valued to US Dollars) If you use a credit card (Visa) you will be charged an extra 4%. Thats a total of 12% for Visa/UK banks :-( Its worse now if you take US dollars, you'll lose 10%+8%= 18% on converting to CUC. Best to take Euros. H. . ...
