luvtopost@yahoo.com - Re: Good Faith Estimates question? - Think about it though. If your GFE says $2,000, then when the day of closing comes and you sign your documents and the HUD statement shows $2,300, wouldn't a first time homebuyer be pissed! I think most would react negatively. . ...

dim@soda.csua.berkeley.edu (D. That's a good place to check. You can also check with the original architect if that firm still exists. Dimitri . ...

"lcer09@aol.com" - Re: MY PET PEEVE - BACKING INTO SPOTS (was Re: Do you back into your driveway?) - I do the same, but my driveway's as straight as can be. It goes along the side of my house to the rear-facing garage. Backing in or out would be rather frightening since it's a 70+ feet long single car width with a brick wall on one side, and a drop-off to the neighbors house on the other. . ...

"shinypenny" - AC bothering neighbor - We live in a neighborhood where the 100-year-old houses are rather close together. I bought the house (duplex condo), which had been completely renovated, three years ago. Central air was installed in both units at the time of the renovation. This summer our neighbor has been complaining (loudly and increasingly grumpily) that our two AC units are making too much noise and she is ha...

rcdd_at_teledatasystems_dot_com@foo.com (DA) - Planning A/C upgrade - Hello everyone! I got a 19 y.o house last summer, and over the course of the year have figured out that my A/C unit (it is also a heat pump as far as I can understand given my ignorance of the subject) is extremely inefficient as compared to my neighbor’s 5 y.o. unit. If you just go by the electrical bill, he pays half of what I do. I am not sure all the difference can be attributed...
