"ANDY WIERSMA" - Re: Shed Roof - Yes that would work, but I would recomend just using rolled roofing from lowes or homedepot. It is cheaper and much less time consuming. I wouldn't even worry about more plywood. You can lay over the existing shingles. Just besure to use tar to treat any bad areas befor hand. Been There2 Andy W. "Lil' Dave" - Re: Garage height...8 feet or 10 feet? - Considering my needs for a small workshop, and intermittent SMALL car maintenance usage, 8' high walls were fine. Dealt with the overhead ceiling height requirements for the garage door hardware, trolley, rails, stops, by framing a ceiling area for just that. The rest of the ceiling is 8'. wrote in message news:1121256710.216665.103440@g47g2000cwa.googlegroups...

Now in I do know of a shop that had the roof trusses changed so that the section where the car pulls in is over 12' and the r...
