We use American Home Shield. It has ties with the broker but there are no payments or pressure to use AHS. We almost always have both a home inspection and a home warrantee. The home inspection basically removes any problems with pre-existing conditions. In general we have not come across a case where AHS did not pay. The even paid a couple we thought questionable. Our complaints, and it has happened a number of times, deals with the lengthy delays in getting repairs done. In one case on our personal home it |
