Speak for yourself. I am in real estate, my job is to sell homes, is customer service a part of it? Yes, but, if someone needs to move the best service I can provide is selling their home, or selling them a home. In my market resale homes have gone up 10-20% in the last five months. This means a delayed buying decision could price someone out of the market. A 20% increase on a $150,000 home means about a $200 per month increase in monthly payments on a 30 yr 6% mortgage - even more if their credit situation is bad. This can price many buyers out of the market. The best service I can provide is to bring them to a decision. This is called selling. It is also looking out for the best interest of the clients and customers. It is not a service to buyers to shuffle them around to 100 homes over six months, and have the market escape their pocketbook in the mean time. It is |
