Yes YES YES!! There are 2 things that have improved my sales dramatically: 1) Taking control of all situations. If clients call the shots, the deals are going strait to hell and you, the agent, will be blamed. Control Control Control. 2) Working on high priority activities. Small, stupid tasks need to be shelved and the things that make and close deals come first. Top producers are on the phone making deals happen. The losers have their feet on the desk and wonder why they can't sell anything. I don't need much technology. All I need is a cell phone and a car. I look at email at the end of the day. Sometimes I need to sort through big lists or make mailers. I just fire up my unix shell and use the power of perl to make a lot of things easier, but I just don't have the time to get too fancy. The real computer is between your ears. At open houses alone, I get enough clients to keep me busy making several |
