I practiced real estate in NY State before moving to Florida. I am now licensed here in Florida as well. In NY one of the items we were provided by our MLS was information on days on market for active, under contract, sold and expired listings. Here the MLS apparently has a rule that this information is only disclosed to members for sold properties. This is arguably information that should be disclosed under Florida law, as it has a bearing on the price of homes and is not readily observable. In addition a good case can be made for providing this information in order to comply with article 2 of the realtor code of ethics. Any one who has worked with buyers knows the first question they ask is "how much?" and the second is "how long has it been on the market?"
