How do I find out more about a particular property?

I don't remember when, but I must have signed on to some free email alerts and got periodic emails from RealtyTrac. I never paid much attention to them, until today. Today an address on it caught my eye. I know this property, drove by it hundreds of time, and it says: This property is a Lis Pendens. This is the initial document filed by an attorney or trustee on behalf of the foreclosing lender that starts the foreclosure process. but to get more information, I need to pay a subscription and join their site. If I am truly interested in this property, is there something I can do to find out more information? What would be the procedure to follow if I wish to acquire it? can a real estate agent help me with this? or no? Thanks, O . |
