There's a whole lot more in it for a realtor to get a seller to price it low. There's all sorts of articles and tapes that teach realtors how to get their client to list at a low price. I know of none that teach them how to get top dollar. Your theory that Realtors try to get sellers to overprice their properties holds no water from what I've seen out there. From what I've seen the vast majority of Realtors take the path of least resistance and take a 3 month listing. So now they are forced to get the seller to price it to sell within |
