I'd sure hate to partner with you! I hold the attitude that 99% of the customers coming to an open house intend to buy a home, and they already have shown an interest in that home by making the trip to see it. Selling a home isn't just sitting around and hoping for a contract-it's all about listening and moving them toward the purchase. That's why it's called Real Estate Sales and not Real Estate showing. Smother them with attention and WORK the house. They don't like the carpet? Suggest they make an offer to allow for new carpeting. Same for a kitchen or cosmetic defects. Show them how this house they wanted to visit can become the house they really want, at a price they can afford. Give me an open house every day!
