Jeff, What I would do is stop by the county building and speak to whoever it is whose job is to approve the registration change. I would make sure to bring all the appropriate identifying information for the property (address and legal description), a copy of the purchase contract, mortgage papers, an a timeline showing what needs to be done when to close on the target date. I would then explain my situation, and and ask politely if there is anything that could be done to make sure I close on time. -- j.c . |
