I recently came into some cash that I would like to put down on a residential rental property. However, I am unable to get a loan from "conforming" residential lenders because of my credit score. I have spoke to a couple of commercial lenders who say that they could do the loan based more on the cash flow merits of the property than on my personal credit report. The only problem with the commercial people is that they won't do fixed rate loans. In today's environment, would it be unwise to do a variable rate loan? . |
