Ok tyron, you're blowing your credibility with your uninformed liberal-banter now. Most agents aren't low-lifes, lets be fair. But they are manipulitive. And it is in their best interests to feed the fire. The entire real estate market is driven by fools, but there are a lot of them. Imagine if a stock's price went up just because one idiot overpaid for it. Lets face it, there are few harvard graduates in real estate. The example with D'angelo and the Las Olas Grand is a classic one. First, why is he the only one with listings, particularly when the building isn't even open for resale yet? He owns a high floor "ashley", and the prices on his listings are climbing monthly even though I doubt anyone is buying. He's got high floor champagnes listed at over $1 million, where they were $825K in April, when the only comp in the area, high floor lexingtons in the Riverhouse, aren't selling at $850K. |
