If it's tax liens that they're talking about, you may want to pick up Joel Moskowitz's book "The 16% Solution", which I've read many others say is one of the best books on the subject. It is possible that after a certain period of time (depending on the state), you may be able to claim the deed to the house if the owner does not pay up the taxes he owes. As always with these infommercials that promise quick riches, the truth is always that it's way more work than they let on, and not nearly as quick!
