The following message was originally posted in a real estate investors newsgroup mics.invest.real-estate and alt.invest.real-estate. I'm cc'ing this thread to the investigative newsgroup alt.private.investigator to get investigator professionals opinion on how this scenario may play out. regarding the un State of Illinois (Cook County) claimed funds Thanks! I'm appealing now to private investigators that can handle this for me in Illinois. Can a private investigator legally appeal to the Illinois Clerk of the Circuit Court construct the deal where the person due the unclaimed funds cannot go around a finder/locator fee? Or do we still have to trust that the recipient of the unclaimed funds will be honest enough to turn over a finders fee once we notify her of the surplus fund due her waiting at the Illinois Clerk of the Circuit Court as a result of the foreclosure sheriff |
