Population in this country has, is, and will be (at least for my lifetime) generally increasing, and increasing at a hefty pace. In early school, they told me there were "just about 200 million" folks in the U.S. Today, I see numbers on the order of 300 million. That's a 50% increase in the years between school and now -- and I ain't had my mid-life crisis yet. I've still got a lot of time left (I'm only 35). The way I see it, population will continue to grow. Supply and demand tells me that more folks will be after fewer and fewer houses. Sure, they'll build more, but the *land* will start getting scarce. They aren't making any more of that. They can't. What does supply |
