I can lose money between my room and the soda machine 2 rooms down. Losing money is a lot easier than making it, if you haven't figured that out yet :) If a person could buy a house at a reasonable price, never make a late payment, keep it in the same condition that it is when it's bought -chances are high that the buyer can later sell it for about the original purchase price. So you'll probably never recover the money that was spent on maintenance, interest, taxes, etc. Of course property values fluxuate, so you never can be certain. Take into consideration all of the costs associated with buying - the repair bills, taxes, etc - the local codes, the neighborhood... and my list could go on and on. If you haven't figured out the financial end yet, then "keep renting" is a good reply. What a silly question. Ryan . |
