Idea new to me - keep my beach house

I need input on an idea. I currently own a house 1000' from the Beach in a small Texas town, Port Aransas. I can sell it at today's prices to raise money for my own uses. But I am interested in keeping the house so that I can also benefit in the near future from the still rising house values. Over the last 7 years to property has increased 147% in value. So my question: Is there a way to set uup an LLC so that I can retain 51% of the house and sell, at todays value, 49% to other people. I would need to maintain the house and rent it as a vacation rental. It can currently earn $295 per night during June through Labor day 9peak season). Does anyone know about such experiences; mortgages; taxes; etc?? Thanks in advance Scott Dallas, Texas . |
