Did you read? The landlady yells at the tenants MONTHLY about the high water bill, yet wont' fix the leaks. What adult needs that? It's like living in mama's house. The other leaks were plumbing leaks that destroyed MY property and have been left as-is for over 2 years now. We "catch" the upstair's neighbor's shower or sink water in a big bucket when it happens. By this time we're used to it and keep buckets ready and waiting, so nothing's been water damaged in a while. The worst leak (and most recent) has caused the water to flow from the HOT side nonstop, at full blast, for over a month, and to flow strongly in the bathroom, also from the HOT side. Hot water = higher gas bill for me, and an inability to HAVE hot water when I want it. So, I've been taking lukewarm showers for a month, and washing dishes in the same unless I heat it on the stove.
